Kristin Chenoweth - Annie (TV film)
Kristin Chenoweth appeared in Annie (TV film) as Lily St. Regis. Annie is a 1999 made-for-television musical-comedy film from The Wonderful World of Disney based on the 1977 stage musical Annie and its 1982 film adaptation, which themselves were based on the 1924 Little Orphan Annie comic strip by Harold Gray.
Annie film was released on DVD on May 30, 2000. This version earned two Emmy Awards and a 1999 George Foster Peabody Award.
Anyone who hates this movie is crazy!,
Author: SMicali from NYC
Annie movie is far superior over the 1980s movie. An excellent cast and a movie that sticks much closer to the original Broadway show. Alicia Morton is a delightful child actor with a great voice. Victor Garber (one of my all time favorite actors) was a wonderful Daddy Warbucks. Alan Cumming is perfect casting as Rooster. The only negative I have of this movie is Kathy Bates. She was the weakest part of the movie.

Kristin Chenoweth - Theater, Broadway, The Apple Tree.
Kristin Chenoweth appeared in Theater appearances, New York City Center Encores!, The Apple Tree as Eve, Princess Barbára, Ella/Passionella. The Apple Tree is a series of three musical playlets with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Bock and Harnick with contributions from Jerome Coopersmith. Each act has its own storyline, but all three are tied together by a common theme (someone who believes that they want something, but once they get what they wanted they realize that it wasn't what they wanted) and common references, such as references to the color brown. The first act is based on Mark Twain's The Diary of Adam and Eve; the second act is based on Frank R. Stockton's The Lady or the Tiger?; the third act is based on Jules Feiffer's Passionella.
The Roundabout Theatre Company mounted a revival that ran from December 14, 2006 until March 11, 2007 with Kristin Chenoweth in Harris' roles, Brian D'Arcy James in Alda's roles and Marc Kudisch in Blyden's. The consensus of reviews was that the playlets themselves are all creaky with age, the music interesting but not inspired, and Chenoweth's performance a marvel and the evening's only important attraction.
