Actor Charlie Sheen put a knife to his wife's throat and threatened to kill her in a fight that began over Christmas, she told police.
He is an American actor. His character roles in films have included Chris Taylor in the 1986 Vietnam War drama Platoon and Bud Fox in 1987 film Wall Street.
