Kristin Chenoweth plays Fran Kubelik in the Broadway revival
of the musical Promises, Promises, opening on April 25, 2010. She stars opposite Sean Hayes.
The starry revival of Burt Bacharach and Hal David's hit 1968 musical Promises, Promises, which began previews March 27 at the Broadway Theatre, features two songs interpolated into the classic score.
As previously reported, the revival — which co-stars Emmy winner Sean Hayes as Chuck Baxter and Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth as Fran Kubelik — features the addition of the Bacharach-David hit "I Say a Little Prayer," which is performed by Fran (Chenoweth) and "The Girls." The production also boasts another Bacharach-David favorite, "A House Is Not a Home," which is also performed by Fran (Chenoweth).
Directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford, Promises will officially open April 25.
